Crop top time! I'm always on the lookout for a jumpsuit, but for someone who has a small top and bigger bottom they're hard to find! So when my beautiful Aztec print jumpsuit from Urban Outfitters ripped at the seams on the legs, I had no other choice but to chop chop chop! It has a low front with a zipper, so what I do for a more chic look is wear it backwards as I do with most of my clothes as I am a fan of a high neck. If you are miserable (or too lazy in my case) at hemming I always tuck it in to a high waited skirt as worn by the lovely Hannah below!

I love charity shop shopping! I found this little beauty in St. Vincent's in Dun Loaghaire. It once was a floor length, velvet dress. The thing about charity shopping is it is hard to find smaller sizes and when you do you are extremely lucky! The trick is to keep looking in them as much as you can for when their new stock comes in so you have the pick of the new things before everyone else does. Anyway, Charity shops are a great place to buy cheap clothes that actually are better quality fabric then the expensive brands on the high street. Also, it makes you feel less guilty about customeyesing something that cost 5 euro as opposed to something that cost 50! With this dress i first cut it to a short dress just above the knees and added black lace to the hem. It was a bit big on me so I figured instead of taking it in i would just make it shorter because then it would look flowy without swallowing me up. I found it hard to wear, the shape was just very unflattering, so yet again I cut it into a crop top and did the same thing as I have previously suggested added lace to the crooked hem.
I was riffling through Topshop sale two years ago and i found a ankle length, high neck maroon dress and bought it for 7 euro! Needless to say I was very pleased with myself on my bargain hunting. However, with indecisions on how to wear it I had eventually cut it into a dress above my knees and was disappointed with the result. So what could i do? I could only make it shorter! So i cut it into a crop top, and if you are bad at hemming  simple and very effective trick is to add lace to the ends to hide its flaws and to add more texture and cuteness to the piece!

The simple, generic denim jacket that I had never really worn. I left it in a bucket of simple toilet bleach (WARNING I used this on my hair once never try it!) I tried to be a little edgier and i opted for a grunge chop off sleeve look. But to tie in with my girlishness I added so fringe 'thats so damn foxy' to the end from an old skirt from my nineties childhood. The result? A denim jacket like no other! Now that's reeeeal hipster!
