Accessories Time!

Pennys Belt
U.O hairband
Chokers are in at the moment, I have been looking for the perfect one for a long time. They're expensive on the high street and even in the goth and emo boutiques I have come to love they're a bit pricey. So what I did is I bought a 2 euro black leather belt from Primark and cut it to fit around my neck. Such an amazing idea if I do say so myself. This was about a year ago now, so this post is a tad dated but I wanted to share it with you anyways! I also did this with a spiked hairband from Urban Outfitters and it creates such a stunning individual look for nothing! So if you have any old black belts/hairbands, dare you to give it a try!

Since then I have had a little obsession with making chokers and accessories! And my taste has evolved from mere leather straps to lace and pearl extravagance!
Even this piece has evolved to having at least seven layers of fabric at this stage!

my crop top and lace choker
Really simple to make I'm not a genius! Hems from old dresses sewn together, broaches that are actually earrings, really just use your imagination and don't be afraid to be different!

Another old idea I used to love (keeping in mind that this post is way overdue) is cutting off collars from old shirts and wearing them with other things! This was a signature staple of my friend Alana Conlon. I bedazzled them with studs and bits of tinsel, and even tried experimental stitches on them from different textures!

Then for my last post of today (running off to work) I have my gloves. Simple, old pair of leather gloves bought from my faithful charity shops, but I really wanted to do something different with them. Did you ever used to put clips on the tips of your fingers and pretend to have really long nails? That childhood memory inspired me! Studs, at the tips of the fingers!! Dare someone to mess with you now! Can't believe I'm saying this, but I cant wait for it to be cold enough to wear these!

Why not stud somewhere unexpected? Like the sole of your creeper? These babies are so old now but I took a picture of when I first studded them for my facebook page CustomEyes'd (Please check out and like!)
